According to LaGrange Police Department Sgt. Robert Kirby, the restaurant closed at 9 p.m. Friday and officers responded the next morning at approximately 9 a.m. when the opening crew had realized what happened.
Kirby said that there are no known suspects yet and that an undisclosed amount of money was stolen from the business.
“There are no surveillance cameras at the location but officers are checking other cameras from neighboring businesses for the investigation,” Kirby said. “There was damage to an office door inside the restaurant as well.”
