ARTHUR RICHARD BROOKS

1939-2020

Arthur Richard Brooks passed away Thursday.

He was born Nov. 12, 1939 to the late Richard and Nettie Mae Brooks in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.

He was a member of New Life Community Baptist Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia and retired from Durand-Wayland many years ago.

Survivors include three daughters and one son: Ms. Stephanie Albright, Mrs. Gail (Bobby) Bussey, Mrs. Melissa (Bill) Hester, and Mr. Arthur W. (Monique) Brooks; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister and brother: Frankie Mae and Felton Brooks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and very devoted friends.

The family received friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-7 p.m.  The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Trinity CME Church Cemetery.
