Mrs. Johnnie Lou Mitchell passed away Saturday.
She was born Nov. 1, 1938, in Manchester, Meriwether County, Georgia to the late John Gamble and Lucille Howard.
Survivors include her sons: Horace Cofield, Jr., James Mitchell, Jr., Ronnie Mitchell, Derrick Mitchell, Jimmy Mitchell, Willie James Terry, two daughters: Angelia Harris and Linda (Casey) Dean; several grandchildren; sisters: Stella Williams and Doris Carreker, both of Manchester, Georgia; brother, Walter Lee William, Luthersville, Georgia; sisters in law: Inez Mitchell and Carrie Mitchell; and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family received friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery.
The excellent care of Mrs. Mitchell is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
