FORIST TALLEY

1951-2020

Mr. Forist Talley passed away Monday at WellStar WGMC in LaGrange.

He was born Sept. 5, 1951 to the late Alfred L. and Hattie Lena Talley, Sr.

Forist united with Thankful Baptist Church and graduated from Troup High School, class of 1972.

He was an avid traveler, enjoyed family and friends, and played a pivotal role in rearing his nieces and nephews. Survivors include two sisters: Mrs. Lizzie M. Reed and Mrs. Lucy Gates; one brother, Rev. Robert H. Talley; aunt, Margaret Lee; and special family and friends: The Atkersons, Geneva Cameron, Milton Cameron, Charlie Smith; caregivers: Mr. Kenneybrew, Ms. Jerry, and Carl Whitfield; along with a host of relatives and friends. The service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.  The public viewing will be Tuesday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home. The excellent care of Mr. Talley is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
