A woman has been arrested after allegedly hitting her son over the head with a baseball bat after an argument about a dog.

According to a LaGrange Police Department press release, Angela Lindsey, 48, was arrested on scene for aggravated assault family violence. At approximately 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to 936 Kelley Street in reference to a person who had been struck with a baseball bat.

According to the woman’s son, he and Lindsey, his mother, were in a fight over a dog, and she struck him to the face with a metal baseball bat. The victim, 20, was airlifted to a metro Atlanta Hospital for treatment.
