PATRICIA “PAT” ANN VESSELL

1947-2020

Patricia “Pat” Ann Vessell, of LaGrange, passed away on Dec. 27, 2020 at the WellStar West Georgia Hospice. 

She was born in LaGrange on June 17, 1947 to the late William Thompson and Sue Middlebrooks Thompson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, George Lee Vessell; her son, George Lee Vessell Jr., and her beloved dog, Butterbean  

Mrs. Pat will be remembered for the love she showed her family, friends, and anyone she came into contact with. She never met a stranger and she brought joy into every room she entered. She was a Christian and was a dedicated member of Dunson Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Brauer; her grandsons, Zachary Thomas Brauer and Scott Joseph Brauer; her little dog buddy, Jax.

The funeral Service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Wednesday. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation of dog or cat food be made to your local animal shelter for Jax or donations may be made to WellStar West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Rd., LaGrange, GA 30240.
