Everyone in Region 5-AA is chasing the Callaway Cavaliers.

With last week’s 67-35 road win over Bremen, Callaway made it to the halfway mark of its region schedule with a 4-0 record.

One of the teams chasing Callaway is Heard County, which is in second place in the region with a 2-1 record, and Temple is in third place at 2-2.

Bremen is 1-3 in the region, and Haralson County is looking for its first region win with an 0-3 record.

On the girls’ side, Callaway is in solid position in the region with a 3-1 record, while Heard County is in first place at 3-0.

Haralson County is close behind with a 2-1 region record, Temple is 1-3, and Bremen is 0-4.

Callaway’s teams begin the second half of the region schedule on Friday at Temple.
