APRIL SHAMEKIO GRISSOM

1978-2021

Ms. April S. Grissom passed away March 4, at WellStar WGMC.

She was born April 2, 1978 to Cathy Harris and Walter Newton, Jr. Meka became a member of Central Baptist Church; attended LaGrange High School; and was formerly employed by Wal-Mart, as a taxi driver, and manufacturing companies.

Survivors include her child, Kawaski Anderson; parents, Cathy (Nathaniel) Harris and Walter Newton, Jr.; siblings:  Cromora (Porsha) Harris-Brown, LaShana T. Harris, Julia Martin, Michael Harris, Matthew (Krystal) Daniels, Antonio Harris; and host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. 

The Service will be Saturday at 12 p.m. at Southview Cemetery.

The excellent care of Ms. Grissom is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
