“America’s Favorite Place for Chicken Salad” is coming to LaGrange later this year.

Chicken Salad Chick will open up near the LaGrange Mall at 1509 Lafayette Parkway, a location that Allison Bradford, the LaGrange location’s owner, said is perfect for her new business.

“We love the development that’s happening out there on Exit 18 .. .and, of course, with it being so close to the interstate, it captures the traffic from people traveling down I-85,” Bradford said.

The location will include a drive thru to cater to those on the go.

Construction on the location’s exterior has been underway for several weeks, Bradford said, and construction on the business’s interior started recently.

Fall 2021 is the expected grand opening, Bradford said, but weather could impact that timeline.

Many restaurants are having trouble filling staff positions right now, but Bradford is confident she will be able to create a solid team before Chicken Salad Chick opens.

“I think it can be done, though we might not have as many people as we want to by the time we open,” she said. “I’m a firm believer that you can get people to come to work if you create a healthy work environment. Chicken Salad Chick is the perfect place to work, from the team to the corporate part of it.”

Chicken Salad Chick has 179 restaurants across 17 states and plans to grow to more than 200 by the end of 2021.

There are also nearby Chicken Salad Chick locations in Newnan, Carrollton and Peachtree City.
