Troup County Government hosted a pumpkin carving contest for all employees on Friday to celebrate the start of the Halloween weekend.
The Troup County Court Services Department won first place with their fantastic pumpkin display, which featured set pieces and characters inspired by the 1960’s sitcom “The Munsters.”
“We had a bewitching time working on our pumpkins,” said Court Services Director Lindsay Mobley. “It was truly spooktacular!”
As first place winners, Court Services will receive a fully catered lunch for their department.
Second place was awarded to E-911’s Ice Cream Cone pumpkin, and third place went to the Board of Commissioners’ Office, whose pumpkin was inspired by Netflix’s hit supernatural drama “Stranger Things.”
