The Maker and Merchant, an upscale vendor marketplace, held the grand opening of its LaGrange location Wednesday. The store is located in the LaGrange Mall next to Belk.

The new store is home to approximately 40 small businesses, makers and entrepreneurs from LaGrange and the surrounding areas, including Alabama.

Featured items will include women’s and children clothing, home décor, jewelry, accessories, food, handmade items and more.

“We are so excited for the amazing group of small business owners who have come together to be a part of The Maker and Merchant in LaGrange,” said Coles Doyle, owner of the store.

“We’ve worked hard to curate a mix of unique items and merchandise that represent many types of makers and merchants. We can’t wait for shoppers to experience the new store and show their support for the local business community. There is something for everyone at the store, and I think people will be impressed with the talent that is right here in the LaGrange area.”
