There is still plenty of holiday fun to be had this weekend in Troup County.

Santa will be taking final Christmas wishes at the LaGrange Mall this Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. and Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. Santa will be at the mall daily until Friday, Dec. 24.

Santa will also visit West Point on Sunday at the West Point Depot from 1- 4 p.m. on Saturday. Santa will be located on the Caboose outside of the Depot for photos.

Join The Hot Toddies ATL and Michelle Malone’s Swingin’ Christmas Show at Pure Life in LaGrange on Saturday at 7 p.m. for some holiday tunes. Tickets are $22.50 and can be purchased at purelife.com. Refreshments from Beacon Brewery will be available for purchase.

In the mood for more music?  Visit Lafayette Square this Saturday at 6 p.m. for a community Christmas sing-a-long. Local choral directors will conduct several traditional carols and holiday favorites. Songbooks and candles will be provided.

Author Ben Wyatt will visit Pretty Good Books in downtown LaGrange on Saturday at 11 a.m. to promote his new book “Something in the Water”, which explores the musical past of Macon, Georgia from the early 1800s to the late 1900s. This event is free and open to the public.

Speaking of books, what have you been reading lately?

Drop by the Hogansville Library on Saturday at 2 PM to share your latest reads. This event is open to all adults and no library card/registration is required. Light refreshments will be provided.

Hang in LaGrange Toy Drive will take place this Saturday on 223 Commerce Ave. from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Visitors are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the drive in order to raise toys to donate Twin Cedar Family Service to bless local families in need of LaGrange a chance to have presents on Christmas.

The Chancel Choir of The First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, will host Mark Hayes’ “Gloria!” along with other musical Christmas songs at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. This event is free and open to the public.
