As Christmas festivities begin to die down in Troup County, many residents are starting to look towards the upcoming new year and all it may have in store for them. Local businesses are getting in the festive spirit by hosting events for the community this Friday, Dec. 31.

Community members looking to quench their competitive spirit can attend the New Year’s Eve Casino Night at the Grand Hotel in Hogansville. Attendees will be treated to one glass of champagne to toast the new year and a $10 drink voucher at the door. Wild Leap Brew Company will host its annual New Year’s Eve bash from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. The event will include exclusive one-night-only beers and craft cocktails.
