Several of Troup County’s city and county businesses will close early for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

The Troup County Government Center be closed Friday but will operate as normal on Monday, Jan. 3.

The City of LaGrange will operate as normal for the rest of the week but will be closed Monday and garbage pickup will not take place that day.

Pickup for the week of Jan. 3 will be pushed back one day: Monday pickup will be on Tuesday, Tuesday pickup will be on Wednesday, Wednesday pickup will be on Thursday and Thursday pickup will be on Friday.

The city’s essential services, such as the LaGrange Police Department and LaGrange Fire Department, will remain open.

The City of Hogansville will closed Tuesday for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022.

The City of West Point services will operate as normal on Friday and be closed on Monday. All of the Troup-Harris Regional Libraries will be closed Friday and Saturday. Libraries will  reopen on Monday.

Hawkes Library in West Point is currently closed and will reopen on Monday.

The LaGrange Daily News office will be closed Friday for New Years Eve and reopen as normal on Friday.
