The article “Man sentenced for beating autistic child” in Tuesday’s edition contained an error.

The sentencing information for Matthew Ledbetter was incorrect. It should have said he was sentenced to 10 years to serve 12 months in prison and the remaining nine years on probation.

The Daily News regrets this error in fact.
