Mrs. Naomi Satterwhite was born Aug. 23, 1944, in Roanoke, Randolph County, Alabama to the late Arthur B. and Willie M. Spence.
At an early age, she joined the Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church in Roanoke, Alabama and attended the historic Randolph County Training School (RCTS), graduating with the Class of 1962.
She moved to Jamaica Queens, New York, and worked as a Bank Teller; relocated to Waukegan, Illinois and served at Great Lakes Naval Base, as a computer operator, she retired.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie G. Satterwhite; a daughter, Nanette R. Morrison, both of LaGrange, Georgia; four grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, relatives, and friends; and one special friend Mary Jenkins.
The Service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. EST at Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church, Roanoke.
The excellent care of Mrs. Satterwhite is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
