Grangers boys soccer team earns first round playoff home game with win over Kendrick

The Grangers boys soccer team mercy ruled Kendrick 10-0 on Monday.
Logan Metcalf had a hat trick in the opening 11 minutes of the game as he proved unstoppable for the Kendrick defense. He also added an assist to his stat sheet a mere minute and eleven seconds before the halftime whistle.
It was Davis Knight taking home man of the match honors as he scored four goals and picked up a hat trick of assists as well.
Romans Outland, Jan Alvarado, and Jordan Bryant all scored a goal each.
Alvarado and Brenner Martinez picked up two assists apiece with Bo Beall grabbing a single assist.
Nine of the ten goals scored by the Grangers hand an assister as it was a thoroughly convincing team performance on the night.
The Grangers were up 7-0 at the break and never looked back.
The Grangers improve to 12-2-1 overall and a perfect 7-0 in region play. The Grangers will play for the region title Wednesday when they travel to take on Columbus.
