LPD: Man arrested after allegedly stabbing father in leg

A 38-year-old man was arrested Saturday after allegedly stabbing his father in the leg.
According to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department, officers responded to the 1600 block of Whitesville Road in reference to a subject who had been stabbed. When officers arrived, they located the victim in the case, Henry Brisco, 75, who was suffering from a stab wound to the left leg. Brisco was treated at the scene by officers and paramedics and eventually transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center.
At this time an investigation was initiated by the Criminal Investigations Section. As a result of this investigation, it was learned the suspect and son of the victim, Tony Brisco, had assaulted his father before fleeing the scene. Tony Brisco was located by officers shortly after this incident and taken into custody for Aggravated Assault FVA.
