Following two years of virtual worshiping, Transparent By Faith Ministries will be launching in-person services beginning April 10, prior to moving into its new location in May.

Transparent By Faith Ministries has been operating virtually for several years, said Jacole Todd with the ministry, but is closer to having a more concrete home for its services and ministry work.

“Starting May 1, Transparent By Faith Ministries will be at 135 Buena Vista Ave,” Todd said.

On April 10, 17 and 27, Transparent By Faith Ministries will host services at the AMC Classic LaGrange 10 on 201 Main Street. The theme for these services will be ‘Access Granted’, a take on John 10:9 which states, “I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”

Transparent By Faith Ministries was founded several years ago by Pastor Monique Fikes, known to her congregation as “Pastor Moe”. 

Fikes grew up in Troup County but lived most of her adult life in Michigan with her husband, Deacon Taurrek Fikes, and their family. After relocating to Georgia, Fikes led two prayer walks in LaGrange in March 2017 and in March 2020, which started at Sweetland Amphitheatre and culminated at LaFayette Square. 

“We are a ministry focused on getting outside of the 4-walls of the building,” Fikes said. “Change happens when you make the first move.”

On top of its ministry work, Transparent By Faith Ministries Annual has hosted several community service opportunities such as its “After Christmas Blessing” campaign that provided monetary gifts to grandparents in the community who have been raising their grandchildren. Todd said the ministry had assisted over 180 in the community. The ministry has also served food boxes to seniors in Troup County.

The April 10 and April 27 services will begin at 10 a.m. The April 17 Easter Sunday services will be at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.
