During bus routes Friday morning, a Troup County School bus assigned to Hollis Hand Elementary was rear-ended on Whitaker and Cameron Mill Road. TCSS said in a press release that at the time of the incident, there were 28 Hollis Hand students on the bus. Several students on board report only minor discomfort or injuries.
“TCSS first priority is, and will continue to be, the safety and well-being of our student population,” the school system said in the press release. “We are thankful no students were transported by ambulance. Parents of the students were notified of the accident by the school’s principal.”
