Twin Cedars Youth and Family Services is seeking nominations for its 2023 Behind the Mask Royal Court.
Each year Twin Cedars’ Royal Court is made up of people from the community who choose to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children in the LaGrange community by inviting their friends to cast “votes” for them. One dollar donated to support the mission of Twin Cedars equals one vote. Whoever rallies the most support gets crowned on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023, during the Mardi Gras Ball at the Del’Avant.
This year, Twin Cedars is seeking five men and five women to join its Royal Court. Those interested may nominate themselves, a friend or coworker.
During the Mardi Gras Ball in February, two individuals of the 12-member royal court, Alex Beall and LaRhonda Elaine Bailey, took home the crown for their fundraising contributions. The 2022 Royal Court was composed of Zack Britt, Coleman Foss, Lonnie Thornton, Nigel Walker, Alex Beall, De’sa Fuller, Jenna Eady, Angelia Laws, Larhonda Bailey, Kendall Butler, Tiffany Lowery and Avery Britt. The other members of the court were titled dukes and dutchesses for their contributions.
Twin Cedars operates in three communities in Georgia and one in Alabama. Programs include the Bradfield Center, Therapeutic Foster Care, Team Building, Circle of Care, Darkness 2 Light, Troup County Children’s Advocacy Center and Safe Families for Children West Georgia.
Nominations can be submitted to jangstadt@twincedars.org.
