It’s been years, but Sonic is finally returning to LaGrange.

Sonic America’s Drive-in is set to return to LaGrange with plans to open a new location on Lafayette Pkwy. LaGrange hasn’t had a Sonic since the restaurant closed its former location on N Morgan Street, currently occupied by the Wash N’ Roll Car Wash.

Brent Reams, of Inspire Brands, which owns Sonic Drive-In, Arby’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbins among others, confirmed that the company is planning to open a new, corporate-owned Sonic on the parkway.

The Sonic is currently under construction with plans to open later this fall.

For now, the closest Sonic location is in Lanett, Alabama.
